Conference Information 

The conference will be held from Thursday 19 to Friday 20 November. In addition, a welcome reception will take place at our conference host firm Intaria's office on Wednesday 18 November.

Welcome reception Wed 18 Nov: Intaria, Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Mozartstraße 4,80336 Munich. 
Note: The office is approximately 10-15 minutes by taxi from the conference hotel.
Registration/badge collection: Name badges will be available on Thursday morning, before the conference begins in the meeting floor foyer.  Please wear your name badge throughout the conference.
Conference Venue: Munich Marriot Hotel City West
Dinner Venue: TBC. The conference dinner will take place on Thursday 19 November.
Accommodation: Munich Marriot Hotel City West
Dress code: Smart-casual for both conference and networking events.


Registration Fees

Delegate fee: €695 per person
Full payment will be due 30 days from the invoice date.
For enquiries regarding payment and invoicing, contact the Finance Team via email.

Cancellation Terms: Should you cancel within 45 days of the conference start date and are unable to provide a substitute delegate, a refund will not be available.

Destination Information

Local Time: The local time in Munich is Central European Time (CET).
Currency: The currency used in Germany is the Euro (EUR).
Electricity Voltage:  The electricity operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50 Hz. The power sockets are of type C and F.
Official Language: German, but English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants and business settings.
Weather: November in Munich is typically cold, with average temperatures ranging from 2°C to 9°C. Delegates are advised to bring a warm coat and umbrella. 

 

Dress Code

Conference and Social Events: Smart-Casual.
Perhaps consider bringing waterproof jacket or umbrella in case of rain. 
 

Travel Information to the hotel

Munich Airport (MUC): Approximately 35-45 minutes drive from the hotel. A taxi will cost c. €70-€90

Munich Central Station (Munich Hauptbahnhof): Taxi from the train station will take approximately 10-15 minutes and cost €15-€20. The main taxi rank is located outside the North exit (Bahnhofplatz). Taxis are available 24 hours a day.

Public Transport: Munich has an excellent public transport network operated by MVV, including U-Bahn (underground), S-Bahn (suburban rail), trams and buses. The easiest way to pay is with contactless debit or credit card, or by purchasing tickets through the MVGO app 

You can pre-book a taxi for your arrival using Uber, Bolt, or local taxi services. Taxis are readily available outside Munich Airport terminals.

 

Visa Requirements for Germany

Delegates are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

Visitors to Germany may need a visa depending on their nationality. Please consult your local consular office for details. We recommend applying at least 2 months before the conference as visa processing may take up to 30 days.
